"The Wolf Is Not Our Enemy" - Rev. Thomas Perchlik. The Wolf was long depicted as the terror of the wilderness, but the first nations who lived beside the Wolf knew otherwise. The Wolf was brother and competitor, but not an enemy. This Sunday we will ask: where in our own lives we have mistaken competitors for enemies; in US foreign policies do we mistake wolves for terrorists; who is the true enemy of Unitarian Universalists; and whose joyful howl gives us life?
