"Are You a Real Minister?" - Julia Corbett-Hemeyer, Guest Minister. A friend’s question a while back handed me not only my sermon topic but its title as well. "Ministry" is an evolving concept with many definitions and understandings. Are those of us who have ordained as interfaith ministers "real" ministers? Just what is it that makes a woman or man a minister in a professional sense? How does my own interfaith ordination play out with my commitment to UU values and principles? There will be time for questions and feedback at the conclusion of this sermon.
