Courage is not about the absence of fear. It is about moving out into the world with all of the unknown that entails. It is about living in between whatever has happened before and whatever might happen next. Today Rev. Barbara Child, this congregation's Ministerial Settlement Representative, will reflect on the task entrusted by a congregation to a Ministerial Search Committee, and she will honor the congregation's bridging through interim ministry into a new future. This service began with the Blessing of the Animals Ceremony led by Markie Oliver.
