Presenter: Dr. Warren Vander Hill, Provost Emeritus and Professor Emeritus of History at Ball State. During his more than four decades on the BSU faculty, he was involved in a number of oral history projects on the Muncie community. Based on his interviews, he will describe changes in the local Jewish community, specifically Temple Beth El, from 1979, when many of the leaders were downtown merchants, to 2003, when the majority of Jewish leaders were doctors and BSU faculty.
